Been using it for years. Just download ifont, the app is pretty self explanatory. You won't brick your phone.

Apps moved to memory card doesn't show anymore in my app drawer.... anybody with the solution?

Yes, I downloaded it but I don't know how to go about it. That's why I need a walk-through. Thanks And remember my phone is not rooted

For Gionee M5, you don't need to root, just upgrade to the latest Nigerian ROM or Indian ROM.
Any phone that supports fonts changing in the settings doesn't need to be rooted but if it doesn't have that feature in settings then Yes it must be rooted.

Method 1.
When you open the app.
Under Recommended
Just click on the font of your choice.
Download it
Set, okay.
That's all

Method 2.
You can search for more fonts than those recommended
Click on Find
Font All
Scroll down or search for the font you're looking for or
Just click on the font of your choice.
Download it
Set, okay.
That's all

Method 3.
You could download a font on Google
Go to file manager.
Under ifont folder, there is a custom folder
Paste the downloaded font there
Then launch ifont app
Swipe to mine.
Click on my font
Install the font
Set, okay.

This should be enough explanation.

What version of ROM are you using and does it support font changing in settings?

Method 3.
