It was commotion few hours ago in one of the houses/environs along Erediauwa Road, Benin City when a woman alleged to be a witch, while flying crash landed on a roof into one of the empty rooms attached to the main building.Her star saved her from been manhandled by angry on-lookers because occupants of the house while waiting for the arrival of the Police and Press locked the entrance door stay guard by the window and only allow nterested person(s) look through the window brifely.wonders they say shall never end.

A superstitiously insane society where old women are lynched, murdered and abused because they are accused of being witches. . A stupendous and ludicrous society where mindless violence is seen as a means of solving problems. Can you imagine the type of dehumanizing, barbaric and inhumane act these people are meting out on an old woman. imagine the type of treatment people so mindless subject others to in the name of idiotic superstition Nobody has stopped to wonder "What if we were wrong and she is just a victim of superstitious misplacement stemming from our ignorance of what happened?" Nobody ever stopped to wonder "Why kill or lynch this man just because he took some things" As long as people do not stop to consider the feelings, conditions of others and the circumstances behind their actions, their response to these actions will always seem to be barbaric as it is demeaning for intelligent beings.
