actually you can, but it's a very delicate issue and you also need to check for compatibility, i've upgraded a dual core hp to a corei3 without any problems i don't really know about amd processors so i'll advice you to stick with you current processor or better still sell the laptop and get a better one with the kind of processor you want

Yes u can, but it's almost rare and very complex, so I advice u stick to ur current processor
