BEFORE LAST NIGHT A scintillating future he had The only hope his family had His sanctuary he kept clean even till his obituary just before last night Tony was every guys favourite His house was like shoprite Everything was pretty cool Until the inferno occurred just before last night I thought love was blind You occupied my mind Over the eastern I flew Just to get your favourite wine Until I saw him caressing your behind just before last night He almost committed suicide Maybe I should just end it all Maybe my birth was a mistake In the croaky voice of poverty he thought just before last night Baba go-slow they called him Always came last in class Nobody gave him a chance just before last night. Nice composition but i dont agree with you labeling this as a poem.... A poem should be arranged in stanzas buh wah i see there is a story... Also the diction used in poems is figurative buh up there is just a brief narration... |
