Yesterday unemployed graduates numbering up to 100 in Lagos, marched peacefully to the Government’s office in Alausa, Ikeja where they had gone to express their displeasure of no job to the State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

The protesters said they had no form of jobs and are ready to work if provided with jobs. See more photos after the cut from the very peaceful protest.

Imagine what you have to pass through as an unemployed graduate. The public ridicule, the red bank acct balance, the idleness, applying for jobs yet without seeing any result, and the risk they expose themselves in travelling to unknown locations for the sake of job interviews and having to pass through the rigorous recruitment stages. I could remember how i lost a friend to ghastly motor accident on his way returning back after securing an appointment letter to start work soon. He was just a victim of the unfortunate circumstance. Anyway i understand the plight of these unemployed youths. Government should jus try to do something and am certain he would because I knw Ambode is a people oriented governor.
