If it involved proving something, then it could have taken well over 30 years. Consider Fermat's last theorem. Ridiculously simple in statement. But was solved more then three hundred and fifity years later. in . . . . I think 2007. The initial proof had over 100 pages and involved proving two other seemingly vastly different and seemingly unrelated theorems.

No one knew the answer prior to this. Same thing with the four color theorem, the poincare conjecture, and so on. Usually, no one knows the answer. But mathematics has this advantage, if you see the correct answer, you will know. Because there will be no errors. If the working is 100% correct, then it follows that the answer must be 100% correct. Simple logic.

At first sight,this approach sounds life-saving because it eliminates the need for a subjective decision. But then there is a question. How do we know that this prove this people make is correct? Well,we know it cuz we've proved it lol

Mathematics,undoubtedly is more exact than any other science,N/B It is not 100% exact o. We can't be 100% sure that a mathematical theorem holds; we just have good reasons to believe it.

fluid mechanics and thermodynamics are d difficult subjects in mech engr, to study maths 4 university, d person shud master formulars and derivation.

Solving a mathematical problem means using mathematical methods to arrive at an answer. So, when he solved the puzzle, he provided the answer. And they knew the answer was correct because there was no error in his calculations.

He doesn't know how math works. And it seems, neither do you.
