POSITIONS
1. Senior Multimedia Journalist
Responsibilities:
o Generate outstanding story ideas for multiple digital platforms
o Meet weekly multimedia content target
o Deliver multi-platform audience growth targets
o Develop social media innovations across leading platforms i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc.
o Implement strategy for generating news-worthy videos
o Monitor and respond to trends in the Nigerian media landscape
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2.2 or its equivalent
• Experience: 4-6 years in multimedia journalism

• Outstanding writing, sub-editing and proofreading skills
• A good understanding of news consumption habits of diverse digital audiences
• Knowledge of, and interest in, national and international affairs
• Excellent news judgment and great flair for imaginative storytelling

2. Multimedia journalist
Responsibilities
• Write and report for diverse digital platforms
• Engage audience on social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc., regularly
• Meet clearly-spelt out weekly multimedia production target
• Generate outstanding digital story ideas for multiple platforms
• Excellent news judgment and great flair for imaginative storytelling



Requirements
• Bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2.2 or its equivalent
• Experience: 1-3 years in multimedia journalism
• Good writing, sub-editing and proofreading skills
• Solid understanding of content consumption habits
• Good nose for news
• Strong social media presence

3. Senior Web Developers
Responsibilities:
● Scalability and stability of all existing digital platforms
● Develop new web sites and services and provide ongoing support for all digital platforms
● Create excellent solutions, using, mostly, open-source software
● Utilise data and metrics to drive good decision-making
● Triangle and troubleshoot issues with multimedia-specific hardware and software, in our data centres and the Cloud
● Develop social media innovations across leading platforms i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc.




Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2.2 or its equivalent, certification is an advantage
• Experience: 4-6 years in web development/programming
• Extensive experience in the management of high-traffic websites
• Extensive applicable knowledge of Joomla, WordPress, CSS, HTML, JavaScript XML, Flash
• Familiarity with design software (Adobe CS), Creative Suite 5.5,photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Dreamweaver/Fireworks
• Content Management Systems expertise

4. Web Developers
Responsibilities
• Develop new websites and services and provide ongoing support for all digital platforms
• Provide technical support for online editorial sites and CMS
• Troubleshoot bugs and other technical issues from internal and external users
• Install and maintain digital advertising codes
• Create and monitor analytics tracking software across all affiliated websites


Requirements
• Bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2.2 or its equivalent, plus certification where necessary
• Experience: 1-3 years in web development/programming

• Software development experience – desktop and mobile and tablet.
• Expertise and experience in HTML 5, CSS, MYSQL databases, PHP and other scripting languages, and JSON and XML/XSL
• Mobile and tablet application development
• Excellent video editing skills
• Experience in content management systems
