its a lollipop device it doesn't display H or H+ but its there just like the Hot2.
and u said only sim 1 has 3G i don't believe that.. have u tried switching to sim 2 as ur preferred sim for data?

if you are ready to take the risk of rooting your tecno Camon C8, download this file from this link... It's a zip file containing super SU for all MediaTek 67***chip

Note that you have to install the mega nz app before the file will be downloaded to your phone automatically...

After downloading, save the file to the root folder of your SD card,
Power off the device and turn it on keeping VOL+ and Power until you see some tiny text.(basically, booting into recovery)

Select the first option (Recovery mode), use VOL+ to navigate and VOL- to confirm.

Once booted to stock recovery select "apply update from sdcard" using VOL+/- to navigate and POWER to confirm, and select the zip file you copied to the MicroSD.
After the flash has completed you will be back to recovery's main screen and just select "reboot system now".

PS: this zip file should work with any MT67** device running a stock Mediatek recovery

PPS: DO NOT apply any incremental ota update after flashing the root zip, flash ONLY flash tool roms when and if they will be available

1. Have you seen where sim1 and 2 run 3G at the same time on any dual sim device on planet earth, You have to decide which one you want as your primary 3G network (based on video calling) and which one would be on standby(2G), whether sim 1 or 2.
2. What does OS have to do with the bad cellreception in Nigeria? If you want H+, take a drive around Ikoyi.
3. If it is unrootable, that means it's the most secure android device yet. Have you never heard of Kingroot. Root at your own risk tho.

See let me make it clear to you guys that are using the camon c8 if you want ur own to be showing u h+ first go to ur system update in ur menu page open it make sure u have at lease 200mb for updating as for I use Glo for it then when u open it click not using WiFi then press the update bottom after updating it the first time it will reboot now do it for the second time by then it will be fully loaded now goto ur 3g select in ur connectivity it will be in daul mode now put it in 3g now open ur browser and broswe wit it and feel the speeeeed....of H+

Still want to ask you guy is anybody here experiencing what this same camon c8 Fone is doing let me share my I bought a Samsung DVD and try in use my USB to watch film on my Fone bought my USB is not showing it I only a write up like media device camera something something if I select the other option to make it work it will still not show please do anybody knw how to do it

Do you mean both SIM should be on 3G at the same time? that wont be possible .

Its your area that would determine if u get H+ or not.
