Hello Awesome Info-Marketers - Or Budding Info Marketers!

Before reading any further, think about the question,
"Who do you want reading your books?"

We often ask this question. And you know what?

Seventy percent of them say, "everyone," or, “anyone from age nine to ninety,"

This is a bad answer!

Answering this way is bad for their book sales, and yours too, if you answered the same way.

Why?

Because if you believe that your ideal customer is everyone, your marketing will speak to no one.

Let me tell you, cookie-cutter messages are glazed over and ignored.

If a message or idea isn't personally compelling, they won't care. And not caring = not buying.

For example, a nine-year-old girl obviously has very different interests from a 30-year-old woman, so if your intended target is nine, don't write or use marketing methods to attract the 30-year-old.

As an author, not understanding who you're writing for and marketing to can lead to:

Alienating your ideal readers
Attracting the wrong people to your book
Misdirection in marketing
Advertising in the wrong places

Knowing things like the gender, age, and yearly income of your audience is just the beginning. You also have to get to the heart of your message and figure out who would be attracted to it, so you'll be sure to always speak to that person.

The information is out there to help you know who your audience is, what they are interested in, where they congregate online, and more.

In fact, it's right here, because we've made a handy report for you!

By taking the data for just one example genre (romance), we've assembled it into an easily digestible format to help you see what you need to learn about your audience.

The tips we share in this report can be applied to any genre, so you'll be able to apply this to your own target audience.

Explore this report and begin to zero in on your target audience, because next we will be sharing a tool to help you spy on your heroes!
