WINNERS AND LOOSERS OF THE TRANSFER MARKET AND NEW SIGNINGS

1 MANCHESTER CITY

City needed to strengthen 3 things in their squad: Pace, Fatigue and defense. This is exactly what they did. Sterling adds pace and direction, De Bryune help with Silva and Toure’s fatigue and Otamendi helps with the defense.

2 BAYERN MUNICH

They did well to replace Schweinsteiger with a better Vidal and an injury prone Ribery with Doglas Costa. Wolfsburg are also winners because they sold De Bruyne for £52m replacing him with a Arsenal target; Draxlar who cost less than half that amount.

THE AVERAGE CLUBS

1 CHELSEA

They needed a right winger because Willian didn’t good end products to his games. They also needed a defensive midfielder to help Matic when he is tired/injured. And they need a left full back to replace Azplicueta and then restore Azplicueta to his best position which is the right full back. But Chelsea only got Pedro. Baba rahman is not top class and they didn’t get someone to help Matic. Plus, they sold Cech to a rival. That’s terrible.

2 BARCELONA AND REAL MADRID

These 2 clubs are classified as average because they don’t have a serious position of need though we expected Barcelona to get Pogba and Real Madrid to get Aguero. But they chose not to go for these players

THE LOOSERS

1 MANCHESTER UNITED

United needed to get a central defender, a winger, and a defensive midfielder. They didn’t need a striker because Van Persie is still very good. But they bought Schweinsteiger and maybe a Martial they don’t need and then fail to buy a central defender after chasing Ramos. Memphis, Schneiderlin and Damian are da bomb. But United’s transfer window is still terrible

DI MARIA REVEALS WHY HE LEFT UNITED

2 JUVENTUS

They let Vidal, Tevez and Pirlo go without getting a worthy replacement. That’s bad

3 ARSENAL

Arsenal needed a goalkeeper, an elite striker, a central defender and a defensive midfielder to probably win the league. But they ended up getting only Cech. That is a big NO NO and lack of ambition to us.
