Bro, faced with this same exact ish, it's really annoying, and my battery takes ages to charge too, don't know whether it's charge port, charger or battery.

Brightness
Gps
Wifi
Apps
Battery properly fixed
Etc......

Brightness set at Automatic, GPS always turned off, same with Wifi, Done uninstalling all my newest apps. What you mean by "Battery properly fixed"?

This was exactly the Genesis of the problem, Battery taking long to charge. I'd to change my charger, now using BB Playbook. thou, it charges my phone relatively fast, Takes maximum 4hours 30 mins for a full charge (15%-100). I think you should try some other Chargers first.

If u have added you frequently used app to your white list and still thesame, then it's the nature of the phone. It has 1gb RAM . That's one of the downside of our phone

i think it has to do with a security setting you made,if i am not mistaken,you have Avg anti virus on your phone.
