Using imei numbers of the phone on www.imei.info it must show the specification of the phone and if it doesn't tally then return it. Sometimes, some people will tell you that you bought fake phone don't mind them. A fake Android phone usually have problems rooting it.

Actually there are fake Infinix and tecno phones. Some look exactly like the originals even. Trust me, I learnt the hard way.
