Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has stated that Paris Saint-Germain can sign Cristiano Ronaldo is if only they meet his €1bn release clause.

Ronaldo has been linked with a transfer away from the Santiago Bernabeu with PSG trying to lure the Portuguese to France.

“[Ronaldo] has a contract here and we want him to stay with us in the future, but nothing is certain in life,” he told Cadena COPE.

Perez believes that Real Madrid cannot do without Ronaldo now.

“Today, it's impossible for Real Madrid to be without Cristiano Ronaldo. He's the best and most symbolic player in the world."

The president insists Paris Saint-Germain would have to pay €1 billion to acquire the services of Cristiano Ronaldo.

“If [PSG] want him, it's very easy for them to pay his €1bn release clause and take him.

“I can see [Ronaldo] returning to fight for [the 2015 Ballon d'Or], with [Gareth] Bale, [Karim] Benzema and James [Rodriguez] to follow. We love them all.”
