Funny enough, the jamb combo does not fit into any educational course.
Strangely it fits into all courses in faculty of business admin, dept of economics and psychology dept.

If you are in Ibadan, you should take advantage of this. It even gives room for those who are doing light job to participate. More schools should emulate this.

UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN REMEDIAL PROGRAM
The University of Ibadan announces the
commencement of its remedial programme in
Mathematics and English language in October
2015. The programme is a 6-month continuous
course for the current SS3 students and school
leavers with deficiencies in one or the two
subjects. The programme is borne out of the
University management’s strong desire to
intervene in the poor performance of students in
these two important subjects at pre - university
level. The programme has been designed in
modules to train the participants for the SSCE,
UTME and post-UTME examinations, coming up in
the first and second quarters of 2016.
There will be two groups as follows:
Group A: Monday -Thursday Evenings (4:30 - 6:30
pm)
Group B: Friday Evening (4:30 - 6:30 pm) and
Saturday (10 am – 4 pm)
Students currently in SS3 class in their schools
are advised to choose the weekend group.
Fees:
Application Form: N500
Course Fees: N15,000 for one subject
N20,000 for the two subjects.
Application form will be on sale from Monday 7
to Friday 24 September 2015 in Room 04, Bursary
Department, University of Ibadan.
Classes start on Monday 5 October 2015

On the issue of how many universities can one pick is still not clear to me and by extension it shows that many of us have not registered and early preparation is key.
If you register early, it makes you intensify your preparation more than when you have not registered. As for commercial and student, we don't really have much option in terms of courses plus science students can also do some courses in faculty of Mgt and social science so the competition for the few courses is quite high and hence there is need for you guys not to rest on your oars.
