hello guys, how much can i rent a panasonic HVX200. will i get someone to handle it, while i just direct the production i want to make?

plus, how much will an experienced editor chagre to edit a music video?

The HVX is a pretty scarce camera these days. It would depend on the concept and budget of your shoot. The camera goes for about 40-50k a day, if you can find one.
As for the editor, you could take a trip to 601 Realtime, where you could get it edited on either Avid Media Composer or Final Cut.

There are several cameras that can produce the same level of quality of the HVX.
The JVC HD200, Sony EX1, Canon XLH1, Heck even the Panasonic DVX100 would do justice.
Invest in a good DOP and set design, not camera.
