Many men have devised varying means of wooing a woman. Some are so professional that they can bet to approach and woo any woman. There is a body of principles that are adopted, call it principles of seduction or whatever, the bottom line is, the man wants a woman and employ different means of wooing the woman. The same principles can be exported to marketing. When your business cannot establish a market via conventional means, the girlfriend principle offers a better alternative.
The girlfriend principle allows you to establish the sales of your product and service to your customer, the same way a man gets a lady to agree to his needs. The principle thereof has been tested and trusted, you can explore the same for your business also.
Transforming Girlfriend Principle to Marketing Strategy
1. Dress up: what most men do when they want to be presentable is to dress up. Then the guy goes ahead to tell her what he can do and even what he can’t do i.e. ‘Im going to take you to the moon’, ‘I’m going to arrange a dinner for you with Barrack Obama’, ‘Im going to ask Mohammadu Buhari to attend our wedding’ etc. the ladies become flabbergasted and falls to his offering. In marketing however, you don’t lie or exaggerate as this will affect your reputation and credibility. In this case, you present the selling point of your product or service to your customers in a way that it creates the need for them to choose your product/service. You must be persuasive and convincing enough because there are other guys (competing firms) out there that have other offers to present to the girl (your potential customer). 6. Present Gifts to the girl: sometime, the little magic is in presenting gifts. Some experts find a way to give the girl a little gift i.e. recharge card, a pair of shoes, cloths, bags etc. due to the first meeting, you now have a friendship with the girl, you can use that friendship and gifting to turn her NO into a YES. As a marketer, you understand that the customer will only subscribe when there is a ‘cut for him or her’. So, take the lead, offer to give bonus, discounts and other packages that will appeal to the mind of the clients. And most times, when you do this, you get a resounding ‘YES’.

7. Keep making your Girlfriend happy: smart guys don’t just keep silent after the lady says ‘YES’, they intensify efforts to show that they care. They take the lady out on lunch, take her out to parks, gives her more gifts, calls to ask after her welfare and other activities that make the lady trust him more, love him more and be more dependent on him.
