Real funny! And just like we've gotten used to their extorting us (women that is), somehow you get used to your Mercedes and BMW extorting you. Not that it's really much if you are the kind that takes good care of your car (that's where they are different compared with women that your maintainance fees continue to go up for life no matter how much you try to satisfy 'em. And if you get a female equivalent of a S65 AMG or 760Li, you're dead! Had one once and I had to choose between maintaining both my cars-S65 AMG and 760Li and her. Of course I chose my cars as she wasn't bringing nothing save drama and expenses to the table. Both cars were delivering real value to me, I know how many deals I got via folks I met via pulling up in those rides at old boys meetings and other occasions).

Word! The fund I'm considering spending on a potential 2010 S65 AMG I got in one fell swoop from a deal I secured via pulling up in my 2007 S65 AMG on a Monday the first day of a certain business meeting.

I came on Friday the same week to the meeting with a 2006 760Li. What I didn't know was that the person chairing the meeting, in whose hands everything lay (apart from God at least) had observed me and my taste for high end Merc and BMW.

To cut a long story short, we got talking about cars subsequently. Not once was the contract everyone was vying for mentioned in our discussion. I and my partners got the contract based on pure expertise and according to the chairman who let me in on this later " I believe your taste and knowledge of your vehicles will be translated to the job". These were his exact words I shiit you not!

The above is just one instance. There were state of the art cars driven by co contractors to that meeting but fortunately for me, nobody drove in a 2014/15 S class or 760 Li to the meeting as I'm sure the effect of mine would've been eclipsed considering that these two cars are deadly hot!
