sincere Nigerian, honesty does pays. Nice one.

Tried loading my phone once by doing a mobile transfer from bank account to my phone. I mistakenly included a wrong digit in my phone number and saw my credit go to someone else who I didn't even know.

Had to shrug it off and imagine I just blessed someone that day. Wasn't expecting him to call back either because I knew he wouldn't have my contact details since it was a bank transfer.

Maybe that's what happened to you OP. But it would be nice if you could just call the number and explain. I don't expect him to ask you to pay for his error.

Try calling the person to verify.
Then look for a way to send back the credit.
You never can tell. Things like this has a funny way of coming back to you in 10 folds. So be wise brother.

MY EXPERIENCE
I had such an encounter some time ago, I called and returned the airtime.
Not too long ago, during NYSC, I attempted ATM interbank money (10, 000) transfer to my younger sister's account and missed out a digit and went into a different account.
I met the customer care and explained to them, they had to call the account owner, she confirmed it and was kind enough to return the money to my account.

you are bigger than 2k credit. call mtn customer care & reset ur pin. call the number dat sent d airtime & return the airtime. God bless you
