I woke up this morning only to browse with ma phone buh it won't unlock.. that small rectangle box is there but d key board won't pop out for me to type ma password, hv reset d phone almost 10 times buh all ma efforts are in vain buh I trust u guyz here I knw smbody here can help...I knw its not touchpad probz kuz every other part of d scrin responds to touches..I rilly need hlp kuz der re so many tinz saved in dat phone memory
pay no attention to ma English if der is mistake all I need now is help...
note: its an Lg p715 phone n dats d photo below

Try pulling out the battery while the phone is still on then remove your memory card if any. Leave for a minute the power back on without memory card.

Only a factory reset will work but you will lose data store on the phone

d phone can't unlock at allll so how du I get to settingz

Since you cant access the phones UI, you will have try another route. First, boot into recovery mode ( power button + volume down), Secondly, use the volume key to navigate to reset, select with power button. If everything goes right, hopefully your phone will be fully reset just like the first day you bought it.. Be warned though! All your data will be gone..

Tapping on a text field would open the keyboard.
Did you change your keyboard app recently?
There's a way to gain access to your phone but you would have to reset it. (Resetting will delete all your data)

In that case:
1. Handset has to be switched off.
2. Press Volume Down + Power button + Hot key for about 10 seconds.

3. When LG logo will appear on screen release all buttons.
4. Whole process has to be confirmed to do it press Power button twice.
