Chelsea had to battle back from two goals down in order to salvage a point as they drew 2-2 with Newcastlein the Premier League on Saturday.


The Magpies have often been a bogey team for Jose Mourinho’s men and they went against their own dreadful recent form to open the scoring through Ayoze Perez shortly before half-time.

Georginio Wijnaldum extended their lead on the hour, leaving the Blues in considerable trouble, but a late revival saw Willian and Ramires score two goals in seven minutes to spare last year’s champions a fourth defeat of the league season.
