kongru:
most people waste their time choosing ui
lazy school....adm quota too low....teamUnilag.
..ma dear tobie pls
think well

kongru:

am here to let pple see d.negative part of ui

kongru:
33000 minus less than 3000.
....that wicked...

kongru:
I always advise pple to ignore ui...because d kind of pple dragging their slot are sophisticated....
.where a graduate with laurels still aspiring for a degree mehn u can agree with me that new student from secondary scho Will find it difficult to make it
I hate it when pple fight a losing battle
ui does nt have respect for your effort

Hey slowpoke. UI sieving the best out of the multitude doesn't in any reasonable sense paint a bad picture of her. No normal person with his right mind would blame UI for such phenomenon that occurs at every end of her post UTME screening exercises. The blame is rather on the candidate who isn't fit and prepared enough to successfully struggle with other competitors and yet joins the league anyway.

It's also a shame that you're consequently saying UNILAG doesn't operate this way, that is they are not concerned with making the best candidates part of their institute, but rather choose any kind of breed, mostly the worst kind, obviously, and it's appalingly bad.

And I do not understand. Were you denied admission as a result of your helpless unfortunate poor performance that gets you so frustrated that you left your thread to come here and spew this rubbish?

can i use commerce instead of gov?
no big deal but dnt risk ur chances of screening at UI cos they don't take the subjects combinations lightly, but check the brochure, it highlighted econs and any 2 social science subjects, abt 2 pple i knw that has jst been admitted into ui to study econs choosed the subject i earlier mentioned.
But if may ask, why commerce? Ain't u that good in government?

Wow. Am currently a 100lvl student of futminna Electrical and have already dropped da admission, i want to be a doctor. Okay, i want to go 4 medicine, i've heard "na hotcake" a million times but i need to choose btw UI and UNILAG
Please which of this shud i choose dat fits into what i want below
1. Da one dat doesnt use my o'level result in place of jamb result. I heard UI use o'level to check post utme eligibility. How tru is dis
2. Da one dat i can write their post utme wit a jamb score of 200
3. Da one wit less aspirants. Jeez i hate over-rushed uni's.
Thanks

ur boi Durent! grin

Oh dear, I'd say MBBS used to be a hotcake. And what? You left electrical engineering for MBBS? Come on. It's widely known that engineers generally and logically have the highest salary scale in Nigeria (not only the oil and gas guys) Another advantage electrical engineering has over MBBS is that you can diversify. MBBS places you in a closed and locked position (health centres only) and doctors aint appreciated as before, or at least only the few consultants are, and you know what being a medical consultant will take.

An electrical engineer can work almost in any sector/place; banks, oil companies, hospotals, PHCN, studio/stage work (Project fame, Nigerian idol etc) etc. My boss is an electrical engineer and he is in money. He doesn't even go to work everyday. He works in the Power Holding Company of Nigeria.

It's your choice anyway. The way I see things may be different from the way you see them. I just think a science student leaving an engineering course is trying to replace diamonds with stones

And I'm not saying being a doctor is bad or profitless. It is good. You get reputation and all, and if you're lucky, you get a high pay too.

I just got admitted for Geology and the combination I used were English language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It's sad to know most people think Geography must be among the combination for Geology in UI, and they are consequently cleared out for such mistake during clearance.

So bigneorapz you're good to go with that combination. Good luck.

the guy in question later changed his mind frm UI to unical.
Maybe he was scared of the challenges sha

Lol, same becca on UI 2014/2015 admission, was also on 2013/2014.
Anyway, difference between Computer science & Engineering is obvious and both course jamb combination is: English Language, Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics.

Youre welcome. Hopefully we'll get there.
Going by the ongoing registration statistics. 1,500 have registered for economics at U.I as at yesterday. With an admission quota of not more than 60.
That doesn't mean sha. Just study hard and you'll make it.

I commend you for educating his ignorant mind-set. university of Ibadan's admission exercise is the most transparent admission process in Nigeria. And it is.not for candidates who have not discovered their academic capacity and potentiality.
