window being revealed people are getting
ready for it to launch, which has resulted in
sales of certain other Sony products going way
up. The products in question are the PlayStation
4 Camera and PlayStation Move controllers, whose sales have skyrocketed on Amazon. To get to the specifics for just how much the
sales of these products have gone up, the
PlayStation 4 Camera’s sales have gone up
975%, whereas the PlayStation Move’s sales
have gone up 305%. Even the PlayStation Move
charging stations have gotten a boost in sales, going up 346%.

A pair of popular Rockstar PS2 games are now
available to download on the PS4’s digital
store. The European PlayStation Store have now put up Manhunt and Bully (Canis Canem Edit) for sale today. In the UK, Manhunt costs 11.99 pounds
while Bully is also just 11.99 pounds. Both games feature: “Full 1080p up- rendering and enhanced features such as
Trophies, Share Play, Remote Play, Activity
Feeds and Second Screen support for game
manuals with PS Vita or PS App.”

When it was revealed recently that Remedy
Entertainment’s upcoming Xbox One and PC
game Quantum Break was only going to run in
720p, there were more than a few fans that
came out to voice their displeasure. However,
Remedy has now come out in an attempt to clear the air on the issue. In a statement to the Inquisitr, Remedy said that “Quantum Break’s 1080p output is a
temporal reconstruction from four previous
720p 4xMSAA frames. This approach gets us
high pixel quality in combination with complex
shading and effects, allowing us to achieve a
cinematic look. However, varying sample counts between passes and temporal upscaling
makes talking about resolution, as it is
traditionally understood, complicated in the
case of Quantum Break.”

Xbox One Update Hitting Today, Brings Backwards Compatibility Changes Starting with this update, players can purchase Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One Store, as long as they are available via Backwards Compatibility. This will make it much easier for fans to buy older games that they might want to try out on their newer system. Previously they would have had to buy the game on an actual Xbox 360, or purchase it via their web browser. The other feature being brought over from the Xbox One Preview version of this update is the increased Party Chat capacity. Now sixteen players can join into a single party, allowing them to talk amongst themselves without interfering with the game. A few other things were added after the preview version came out, including Xbox Elite Wireless Controller improved thumbstick precision with firmware update, improvements to the Xbox Accesories app, and allowing players to broadcast their Party Chat through Twitch. This last one will really help those who stream a lot, allowing their viewers to hear what their friends are saying in the game.

Pretty soon a lot more people are going to be able to take Gearbox Software’s Battleborn for a spin, as the developer has announced the start date for the upcoming MOBA’s open beta. The open beta will kick off for PlayStation 4 at 5 PM UTC on April 8th. 5 days later on April 13th the open beta will then come to Xbox One and PC, beginning at the same time of day. The beta for all versions of the game will officially end at 2 PM UTC on April 18th. The beta will include two story episodes called Void’s Edge and The Algorithm, while also including 2 of the 3 multiplayer modes that will be present in the main game. Also, all of the game’s 25 heroes will be playable. As for those who want to be ready for the beta as soon as it goes live, you can pre-load all versions of the beta on April 6th. The file sizes were also revealed, with the PlayStation 4 beta being 8.5GB, the Xbox One beta being 11GB and the PC beta being 12GB. The full version of Battleborn will launch on May 3rd.
