If you weren’t able to take part in the first beta for Halo Wars 2 then fret not, as Microsoft has now confirmed that a second beta for the game is on the way. While we don’t have exact information on when it will be available, we do know that it will be closer to launch and will be for both Xbox One and PC.
The second beta will also be including a new mode for the game, joining the modes deathmatch and domination that were available in the first beta. Microsoft isn’t sharing any news on what this new mode will be at this time, though more information is expected soon.
Halo Wars 2 will launch for Xbox One and PC on February 21st, 2017. The game is also a Play Anywhere game, meaning that purchasing it digitally on Xbox One or PC will get you a free copy of the other version.

E3 2016 happened a few weeks ago and Sony concentrated heavily on the PS4 and PlayStation VR. One console that was absent from the event was the PS Vita.

4Gamer recently interviewed Atsushi Moritaw who is the president of Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and Asia. He explained why Sony chose to not talk about the PS Vita.

According to Moritaw, the Western market isn’t very big for the PS Vita. Sony feels the E3 2016 show is aimed towards Western gamers so they felt it wouldn’t have made sense to focus on the portable console.
Mortitaw however had some bad news and said he’s unsure if there will ever be a PS Vita 2. The original console failed to be as successful as the PSP and a lot of Western gamers don’t really play on it anymore. The console had a hard time breaking out thanks to the uprising of smartphones and tablets.

LEGO Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens tops the UK video game charts this week. It has become the 9th LEGO game to top the All Formats Chart in the UK.
Another game that had an increase in sales was Overwatch. The popular shooter was third in the charts with sales up by 9 percent. The top 5 was rounded out by DOOM and then Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Paul Heyman is the mastermind behind the popular ECW promotion in the ’90s. He has admitted that he wants a former ECW name to be in the WWE 2K17 roster, but it isn’t who you think it should be.

During an interview with Gamesradar, Heyman admits that he wants Joey Styles to be in the actual wrestling roster of WWE 2K17. The main reason he wants him in the game is to see him get beat up by Brock Lesnar.

He said: “I would choose Joey Styles. Why? Because I would like to see Brock Lesnar ‘F5’ Joey Styles. I’d love to hear what it sounds like when you’re in midair and you’re coming crashing down to the mat and you hear, “Oh-myyyyyyy-God!”. Crash”

Rockstar finally gave us the news we’ve been waiting for yesterday when they announced that Red Dead Redemption will join the Xbox One backwards compatibility library starting this Friday, July 8.

The official release date for PES 2017 has been revealed by Konami, as the game will be coming to the USA on September 13th and to the UK on September 15th. While the game will be coming to both current-generation and last-generation consoles as well as PC, the accompanying price is not the same.

The game will cost $60 if you buy it on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, though if you buy it for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 or PC it will only cost $40. According to a Microsoft representative that spoke with Polygon, Xbox Play Anywhere will launch on September 13, which follows the release of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update on August 2, which will be required to take part in Xbox Play Anywhere.

September 13 actually lines up with the release date for ReCore, which will be the first upcoming game to be part of Xbox Play Anywhere, with plenty of other announced games coming after that, including Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, and Halo Wars 2.

No Man’s Sky Release Date Is Final As Game Goes Gold.
The creator of the game, Sean Murray, tweeted out: “It’s happened. No Man’s Sky just went gold. I’m so incredibly proud of this tiny team. 4 years of emotions”

As you can see from the photo that he tweeted out, Sean Murray is holding the first Blu-ray disc that stores the entire game. The game will be ready to ship out worldwide next month as it comes out on August 9th, 2016.

Just like Murray tweeted out, this game has been in development for 4 years with only a couple of staff members. The game was initially scheduled to come out in 2015, but got delayed until June 2016. The June date was then pushed back to the now final August date.
