Horizon: Zero Dawn Preload Available Now As File Size Is
Revealed

The file size of the game has been revealed as 39.486 GB,
which was revealed by GearNuke. Preordering the game
from the PlayStation Store will get you the Nora Machine-
Trapper pack and a dynamic PS4 theme for free. The pack
comes with weapon mods that improve your weapons’ stats,as well as crafting resources.

For those of you who may be running low on space with
your PS4s, you’ll be happy to know that the game’s day one
patch is very small in size. The patch is around 250 MB, with
the devs saying that “Horizon Zero dawn will receive a small
day zero patch that will build upon PlayStation 4 Pro
support, adding a Performance mode which will favor
smoother framerates while delivering higher visual fidelity
in the 1080p mode. This mode is available for both 4K and
1080p displays.”

Some potentially big news for Shenmue fans is on the
horizon, according to a new rumor making the rounds.
According to Destructoid, an Atlus USA employee has let
slip that Sega is working on HD remasters of both Shenmue
and Shenmue 2, and is targeting a 2017 release. The
apparent plan is to release both at once to help tide fans
over for Shenmue 3, which is apparently being pushed back
to a 2018 release.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy
7, and Before Crisis: Final Fantasy 7 launched many years
ago now, and in an age where HD remasters are
commonplace it has lead some to wonder if they might be
remastered together in a compilation. The Final Fantasy 7
remake director, Tetsuya Nomura, recently did an
interview where this topic came up, though he isn’t exactly
optimistic about it happening.

Nomura says that “Concerning Final Fantasy 7 Remake,
which is a title loaded with a lot of mystery for now, it will be
different from the original Final Fantasy 7. If we make a
compilation, these games will hardly have an overall
coherence. It will be difficult because there is no more
continuity between the Compilation and the Remake for the
moment.”

Epic Has Six Games In The Works

Epic has at least six games currently in the works, the
developer told VentureBeat in a new interview. These
include Fortnite for PC, as well as the PS4 and PC free-to-
play game Paragon and a new version of Unreal
Tournament, which is also free on PC.
Additionally, the studio is partnering with Star Wars: The
Force Awakens director JJ Abrams' Bad Robot studio on a
mobile and PC title called Spyjinx, which is being worked on
by Epic's Chair Entertainment.
What's more, Epic is at work on an Oculus-funded virtual
reality game called Robo Recall, while the studio just today
announced tactical RPG for mobile and PC called Battle
Breakers.
