First all, my attention is drawn to the title as being a frivolous accusation on the probable sterling character of our brother who birthed this platform when for some of us our happiest moment was bathing in the rain or shout up Nepa whenever those workers of darkness decide to switch on electricity for some minutes.

Following the steps of good journalism, my first duty was to come up with a catchy title to drawn attention to my concerns due to the moral weight of the matter I wish to bring to the open and the drastic measures we need to proffer to curtail these menaces. Let me quickly say that my intention is not to castigate the personality of Seun. After all, God created a beautiful and peaceful eden but the devil turned it to iraq.

When time has gone a fair distance, lameness can no longer blame blindness. I have been a guest here for sometime, I decided to become a registered user early this year so as to engage and interact openly. However, these past years, I have noticed several anomalies: lies of different hues (lies from guys who claim to be gals just so that someone will like their comment, lies from those who post events or stories that never happened, lies from those who want to gain followers on social media, etc.)

I have also noticed malicious pranks, tribal diatribes, amorous and shameless posts, political shenanigans, religious zealots and the worst job scams and false job vacancy declarations. While we many not be able to control all these vices, we can definitely curtail scams from scums on this platform.

Recently someone accused another user of this platform of collecting money to deliver some goods which the person never bought or delivered neither did he/her returned the money. There are several post on this platform with malicious intentions to defraud innocent user and to cause others emotional injuries. And I believe it is high time some measures are taken to reduce them to the barest minimum.

I will suggest to Seun and all the mods to create a mechanism for the verification of job vacancies and all other post that has to do with invitations of user for participation. As for all other vices, please hear the voice of your conscience (if u neva sell am for jollof rice).

I know some people would rather watch a paint dry than read a long essay. I will stop here and implore all the good people who read this post to suggest ways for reducing scams or incident that have the propensity to hurt others.
