Lucious catches Jamal trying to visit Cookie. The two have a conversation in Lucious'car, and Lucious convinces Jamal that he doesn't need Cookie...he needs a god to produce him; a god like Lucious.

I don't know what delusions of grandeur Lucious is experiencing, but his current course of action can't end well.

At the Apex Satellite Radio studios, Cookie, Hakeem and two members of Mirage A 'Trois are waiting on Valenti na to show up for their interview. In walks Lucious, who informs them that he bought the radio station – and convinced Valentina to sign as a solo artist with Empire Records.

Lucious clearly has the upper hand, but Cookie vows that he'll never be able to keep her down.

Throughout the entire episode, Lucious insults and alienates everyone he comes in contact with. Sounds like a storyline setup for someone to exact revenge.

Keep in mind, November Sweeps is just a few weeks away.
