A 60K DSLR (NEW)? are you kidding, that will be so poor in performance. just save more or get a digital camera @op.

Sorry...I didn't see ur budget in the first place....how about I help you get this Canon camera from Jumia for a discounted price of #63770 (that's from #80000)

Am a sales rep on Jumia, you'll pay on delivery so don't think I'm a scammer...for further proof, see the thread on my signature.

Don't be hasty in buying a camera. Make researches, read extensively on the camera that fits your need. Nothing will be more painful than knowing you should've waited a little, more or spent more. Here in China 70000# will get you a Nikon D5200 and a 35mm f 1.8 prime lense or nikon D7000 and a 18-105mm zoom lens or also a 35mm f/1.8 prime for crop frame. I'm sorry, it's more expensive in Nigeria. If you're really serious about photography the least of nikon you should settle, for is Nikon D3300 a little cheaper than nikon D5200 and D7000. From my experience Don't rush bro. Take your time to buy the best for your money. Know why you need different types of these cameras and lens before you buy any of them and which fits your needs. Being informed will not harm you and would save you so much cost wise. All the best.

Sorry to chip in this, it seems you don't like canon cameras. I am pretty sure you own a NIKON because photographers love to recommend mostly the brand they are using.
BTW a NIKON D7000 for 70000K in china shocked , that is really cheap mate.

First, true I own a Nikon but I do get my hands on Canon. From performance to simplicity their great and they beat nikon in simplicity and how easy to use them. Canon is darn pricey I used their 6D, 5d mk III and 5Ds and they are very great and you can't go wrong on any canon you go for if you can afford it For the OP, he can't get a satisfactory Canon camera and lens with 60-70k except he goes for the old Canon Rebel series.

For Canon
Canon Rebel t3i and other Rebel series would be good
Canon 600D
Canon EOS M
Canon 60D or Canon 70D if he has extra.

If you are shooting on a really tight budget I always recommend Nikon but I'm very sure you'll never regret Canon if you decide to go with it.

The only online store that sometimes directly ship to Nigeria is alibaba.com as for taobao.com that I use they don't ship directly to Nigeria. I mostly buy from local stores or taobao.com which needs you to be able to communicate in Chinese

Wow! That's effing cheap! D5300 is 145k here in Lagos. I've not seen the New Baby D5500 in the market. I don't have the balls to buy expensive and delicate stuffs like that on AlliExpress.

Nikon D5500 + Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.4G.. My Dream Combo! smiley

Thanks for the info.

When he calculates shipping cost and other stuffs an interest 30K is fair for a 50mm f/1.8. Cos its like 27k here.
