Foremost sports journalist, Felix Okugbe has passed on after a long battle with cancer. The media personality passed away in the early hours of today, Saturday, October 10, 2015.

Before his demise, Felix Okugbe was the head of sports at DAAR Communications (AIT and Raypower) and also the Chief Executive Officer of Mundial Sport International.

Multiple sources revealed Felix Okugbe has been bed-ridden for a while before he finally gave up the ghost today.

So sad, I have been following him right from his day with Edo Broadcasting Service, then in Benin, Edo state. Naija has lost a great sport icon! May God give his family a fortitude to bear the great loss. Adieu Felix.
