Since I went for a physical inspection of Christal Villa Gold estate.I have been excited about the estate. The estate is seated in a Dry land and about 8 minutes drive from the Dangote Refinery and Lekki Free Trade Zone, which means it is not too close to the refinery (for those who are concerned about pollution from the refinery) and not too far either for the Refinery to influence price appreciation. It's the perfect estate whether you're looking to buy and build or buy as an investment plan.

Real estate is the new savings bank. With the continuous fall of Naira your N600k in the bank today will be worth N400k in 2 months if you leave it there but a plot in Christal Villa Gold could be worth N2.5million in the next 18 months.

Call me right now on 08036384420, 08157579507 to book for your inspection today.

In the introductory part of this series, I drew your attention to some of the inherent challenges of doing business in Nigeria. I also gave examples of individuals that have excelled in the Nigerian Business environment. Herein are some of the fastest growing, business, investment and Career opportunities in Nigeria.
Please Keep tabs on opportunities in the following orbits:
1. Private Education (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Institutions) - Are in an upward swing because of the wanton decay and lack of confidence in public schools. This is a long-term investment with good return on investment. A study posits that Nigerians spend as much as N1.5 trillion annually on students studying abroad. Ghana is a beneficiary of this largesse as Nigerians are said to have spent N160 billion there in 2012 alone.
2. Housing (Real estate) Sector-Firstly, Nigeria’s population is the highest in the continent. According to UN-Habitat Features, “Lagos continues to grow and by 2015 it is envisaged to become the world’s 11th largest urban system, with 16 million inhabitants.” Housing remains a problem. The opportunity herein is tremendous. For a lot of people within and outside Nigeria, it is a country that relies on oil through and through. We would be nothing without oil, right? Well, you will be pleased to know this is not true, especially today. Did you know, for instance, that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by about 6.9% in the third quarter of 2013 largely because of the increased contribution of the non-oil sector? What is more, real estate services hold a significant position in this particular sector.
That is one reason why investing in the real estate industry is a great idea, whether as an individual or corporate entity.
Real Estate Growth 2011 - 2013
Even more interesting is the fact that the low end real estate comprising of individuals and corporate entities are responsible for the continuous growth witnessed in the recent quarters. This is according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) that continues to churn out the numbers religiously for all to see.

3. Student Hostels and Event Centre’s – Are money spinning ventures in Nigeria. There is a dearth of student accommodations in and around many Tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Erecting decent student accommodation preferably Self-Contain apartments near these Higher Institutions will churned-up a good return on investment. Same applies to Event Centre’s which are increasingly springing up here and there because of the ban on street (Owambe’s) parties especially in Lagos and it’s environ.
4. Mega Shopping malls, retail chains, eateries-There is a resurgence of elegant one-stop mega shopping malls, franchises, retail chains and eateries in Nigeria. It appears the Walmarts’, Argos’, Tesco’s of this world are missing out in Nigeria’s scheme of things. Trust Nigerians and their entrenched culture of 'effizy', everybody who is anybody and everybody who is nobody, wants to be seen shopping from any of the popular shopping malls/retail chains. Nigerians love brands
5. Private Security Industry - Because of the unprecedented terrorism, insecurity (kidnappings, armed robbery) challenges bedeviling Nigeria, the Security Industry (Provision of Private Guards, Sales of Security Gadgets) is a money-spinner. And no doubt, those that keyed into it have being smiling to the Bank.
6. Hospitality and Entertainment Industry - The demand for quality hotels, restaurants, Cinemas, Amusement Parks is far higher than its supply in Nigeria. On the area of entertainment, the past decade has witnessed an upsurge in Nigeria’s entertainment industry. Many Nigerian entertainers, artistes, actor/actresses formerly based abroad have moved back to Nigeria to tap into this blossoming industry. I can bet the likes of Kenny Ogungbe, Banky W, DBanj amonZ others are not regretting their relocation to Nigeria. If you are a gifted Nigerian entertainer/singer currently struggling with recession/depression or trying to carve a niche for yourself in the murky and segregated waters of Hollywood, California or any other part of the world, perhaps it is high time you think home; there is a massive audience for you. Hey, don’t go jumping into the next flight to Nigeria. Do your homework very well before you take the plunge. While you are at it, it may interest you to know that many drug dealers in the streets of Europe and America do not earn in a year, a quarter of what Tuface, PSquare, Inyanya, DBanj and co earn from a single endorsement here in Nigeria.
7. Uninterrupted Power Supply - Yes Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) is been unbundled and privatized; there is hope since electricity supply have improved and this have resuscitated hitherto moribund businesses. Business ideas and careers entwined around uninterrupted power supply have witness a boom. Cheaper alternative energy sources will also give conventional energy providers a run for their money.
8. Downstream Oil & Gas Sector - According to analysts, more Nigerians are participating in the downstream sector of the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry. Similarly, the solid mineral sector in Nigeria is an untapped goldmine.
9. Transport sector - Will increasingly witness a shift towards conglomerates such BRT, LAGBUS etc. This is the trend all over the world. In the United Kingdom for instance, a transport company known as Travel West midlands and a handful of other smaller transport companies service the entire West midlands. A time will come when all these rickety Molue’s, Danfo’s will be completely phased out and driven out of business. Privatization of Nigeria’s railway sector will also give birth to business opportunities. Budget Airlines will thrive too.
10. Health Sector (Provision of world-class medical facilities) - Nigerians are said to spend a staggering N80 billion annually on medical tourism abroad. From minor ailments to life-threatening ones, many Nigerians, especially the moneybags and those in the corridors of power, lack confidence on Nigeria’s medical system. It suffices that replicating such state-of-the-art medical facilities prevalent in Western countries in Nigeria will yield high return on investment.
