An explosion rocked Oworonsoki area of Kosofe Local Government of Lagos on Sunday, causing residents to scamper for safety.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) gathered that the explosion occurred at about 1:00 pm in a locked-up beer parlour along L & K Road, the Inward Mayaki, Oworonsoki.

Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, the South West Zonal Public Relations Officer of the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) confirmed to NAN that four persons, including a baby girl, sustained injuries.

He said that the victims were taken to private hospital facility in the neighbourhood. “The State Fire Service and the Police are presently trying to find out the cause of the explosion as the shop is still locked at the time of explosion.
