You should be able to work in a high-pressure environment and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work unsupervised.

REQUIREMENTS
Skills in preparing, seasoning and cooking a wide range of foods including soups, salads, entrees and dessert
Hands-on experience in baking,roasting, grilling,boiling and frying meats, fish, vegetable and other foods
Proven record of garnishing, arranging and serving foods
Knowledge of checking freshness of raw food and ingredients before cooking
Hands-on experience with a wide range of kitchen gadgets
A culinary school certificate is an added advantage
Possession of NVQ level 2 or 3 food safety/preparation is an advantage
Prior work experience in an industrial catering environment is an added advantage
