1. Traffic

Especially if you have good number of search engine traffic on your previous sub domain blog.

If your blog has some good number of search engine traffic and you switch it to a custom domain, be ready to lose almost half of your search engine traffic, as this happens because your custom domain is new and still lacks authority.

Some of your previous webpages that have been automatically redirected to your new custom domain will sink down in search ranking, thereby causing a serious drop in your traffic.

2. Google + Comments
