This is a true story about Ifeoma who happened to loose everything in her life...

Ifeoma grew up in Lagos where she learnt to be an hair stylist. She came from a background where even to eat three square meal is like looking for a needle in the dark.

But as an industrious girl that she was, she left home and decided to learn a hand work. That was how she became an hair stylist.

Ifeoma is a very beautiful girl where every man dreamt to to have her as a wife, but she was so focused and determined to go higher in what she is doing.

One day Ifeoma was making the hair of one of her customer, and two lovers walked into her shop, as she looked at them to welcome them, the young guy caught her attention not minding the young guy's girl.... He is around 5.11 feet tall and a little muscular and light in complexion.

Ifeoma was stunned... she has never saw someone like that before, the guy really caught her attention .... She wants him, she needs him..

Her customer called her back from her dream and she realised she had paused what she was doing. Ifeoma lost herself in thought she was in awe of the guy, the guy on the other hand was not even paying attention to her, he was busy tending to his lover in the saloon.

Ifeoma kept looking at the young man from the mirror in front of her.... the the guy's lover noticed it and Ifeoma removed her eyes quickly...

When she finished tending to her customer, she called the lady she had been eyeing her guy to come sit down so she can fix her hair too.

Ifeoma started to work on her hair and she still looks at the guy from the mirror ...
The guy noticed she was looking at him and he smiled.. The young lady stood up from where Ifeoma was tending her hair and gave Ifeoma a very hot slap.... Ifeoma fell down......

Part 2
Ifeoma stood up quickly and asked her why she slapped her.... But Ifeoma actually know why she slapped her.

The boyfriend on the other hand asked why her girl slapped Ifeoma, with that question too, she slapped her boyfriend and walked out of them both.
He apologised to Ifeoma and introduced himself as Arnold.
Arnold sounded so cool and harmless, no wonder Ifeoma loved him at first site....

There love story began from that moment upward, things changed for Ifeoma for good and she became a very known person in her area.

Arnold on the other hand kept loving Ifeoma. Arnold who happened to be a banker still find time to take care of Ifeoma and also cared for her family.

Avery faithful night, Ifeoma was still in Arnold's house where they were gisting and having fun, they heard a knock on the door and Ifeoma went ahead to open the door. Alas! it was Harm Robbers, they pushed her down and asked Arnold to lie down too, Arnold obeyed and the Harm robbers asked for money but Arnold had no money in the house but told them to take his valuables.

That instance, Ifeoma caught their attention and they asked her to face them, which she quietly obeyed, she was ripped off of her clothes to almost naked... Arnold was crying and begging them not to rape her but in response , they hit Arnold with their guns severally.

They took a toll on Ifeoma, she was brutally rapped by five of the robbers till Ifeoma became unconscious....

They left afterward... But Ifeoma was bleeding seriously, Arnold made some calls for help.

PART 3

Arnold was sitting beside Ifeoma in the hospital along side her family, Ifeoma woke up and realised she was in an hospital, she was already crying because of what happened to her, Everyone in the hospital room was consoling her, Arnold on the other hand was crying profusely too, not because she was hurt but because he could not defend and fight for her when she needed him most, who knows.. he might even be shot dead if he had made any silly move.

He was angry with himself because he should have at least made a move but he didn't rather he was staring on how they took turn on his girlfriend.

Arnold was whispering to her how sorry he was, not being able to help her when she needed him, but Ifeoma just giggled and said what would he have done at that situation, he would have been killed. Ifeoma stopped crying and she shut her eyes... praying for death to come because she has been humiliated and defiled.

20 weeks later, Ifeoma went for her usual check up and the doctor told her about how her system have changed, so they will need to carry out some test on her... The doctor did as he said and the result came out couple of hours later.

The doctor called Ifeoma into his office and told her She is pregnant... Ifeoma was shocked and her eyes was filled with tears, because she knew Arnold has never slept with her which means the harm that befell her 20 weeks ago has resulted into pregnancy.

The doctor called her attention as he observed she was lost in thought... and told her there is something else...
Ifeoma asked what it was, the doctor said "You are HIV Positive". Ifeoma fainted immediately.

Part 4

The doctor revive Ifeoma quickly and sat her down, Ifeoma was so devastated she could not stop crying. She concluded that her life was over...

She stood up from the doctor's office and went out still crying. she went straight home and she slept off in her bed.
Ifeoma woke up later in the evening, she went straight to the kitchen to eat, she met her mum there, Her mum observed she was not lively and she asked her what was wrong, Ifeoma lied to her mum that she was having fever but she is fine now.

Everyone went back to bed to retire for the night, at that instance Ifeoma eloped from the house that night.
One week later, Arnold was down emotionally and physically after going through a lot in search of Ifeoma, he even went on compulsory leave just to search for Ifeoma but to no avail. Ifeoma's Parent have been so devastated, Ifeoma mum never stopped crying, till she got sick and her father on the other hand was weak and helpless.

5 Months later

Arnold never gave up on Ifeoma, he kept searching for Ifeoma, he was riding his car one day in the city and he parked after he sighted someone who looked like Ifeoma, he rushly got out of his car immediately to check on her, but he found out it was not Ifeoma, he was disappointed and went straight into his car. He ignited his car and looked back to reverse his car, He sighted Ifeoma immediately crossing the road. He was shocked and got out of his again. He sighted Ifeoma immediately with her protruded tommy.. he called out "Ifeoma" and she looked back at him.

Ifeoma was shocked as she sighted Arnold, she wanted to run immediately but something held her down, she was confused and unable to even say a word. She could not imagine that Arnold will still look for her, she was ashamed of what she has become.

Ifeoma looked tattered and rough with a protruded stomach, she was actually hawking pure water for sale.
She was not looking healthy at all, she looked so sick and pale, even at that, her beauty still glows out like a morning star.

Arnold could not believe his eyes either, he was perplexed but something kept pushing him towards Ifeoma, he could not hold the tears flowing through his cheeks as he saw the state Ifeoma was, he ran to embrace her with all his muscles, Ifeoma was crying too because she had missed him alot and the love she has for him is still there. She was angry at herself for letting the people that cares much about her to go through pain of finding her, Ifeoma held Arnold so tight that she does not want him to go.

Ifeoma was muttering some words like "am sorry, am so sorry, I don't know what else I would have done".
Arnold kissed her immediately with the tears flowing down his cheeks, he persuaded her to come with him even though he doesn't know whose pregnancy she was carrying, Ifeoma refused him and told him to go, that his life without her will be much better but Arnold insisted, Ifeoma pushed him away and shouted at him that "I am HIV positive".

Part 6

The atmosphere was very dull, looked like the sky has been holding the rain for long, though birds were still flying in the sky.
Arnold looked through the window while backing Ifeoma, who was narrating everything that happened that warranted her to disappear, she was crying profusely because of the stigma it has caused her.

Arnold turned to her and held her firmly, telling her it was not enough reasons for her to desert him just like that, she should have at least tell someone she can trust, everyone knew it wasn't her fault but she running away gave another impression totally.

Arnold committed himself to her, promised her to have the best medical attention and he will father the unborn child and he will still marry her. Ifeoma refused it and she started crying again, saying its unfair for her to ruin his life and that he has more opportunity in life than her, Ifeoma begged him to please continue his life without her but Arnold also refused the proposal.

What a great expression of love it was, so touching that even the minds can't understand how love can be so firm to an extent of going away so the person you love can live so well, a rare sacrifice, the person you want to make sacrifice for refuses and want to make a sacrifice of living in that same pain with you. Its called real love.

Arnold insisted that she must accept his idea otherwise if she makes any attempt to run away again, he will end his own life and that will be on her conscience.

Ifeoma was shocked and she doesn't want to loose someone so important to her life, so she gave in to his proposal and promised him that she would never run away again.

Ifeoma stood up from where she was sitting and hugged Arnold, they both held themselves for some minutes, Arnold observed something was dripping from Ifeoma's skirt, it was blood.

Part 7

Ifeoma was bleeding profusely, Arnold was startled, he looked at his hands and saw blood, Ifeoma saw it too and she shouted and fell down, Arnold rushed her to his car and speed off to a nearby hospital where the nurses rushed her to the theatre.

Arnold was restless and confused, he was walking around the ward looking at his watch. It was almost evening, Ifeoma has been in there for the past four hours, the doctor already told him they needed to perform operation on her so that they can save the mother and the child.

The doctor came out about fifty minutes later, Arnold rushed to meet him and the Doctor told him the baby and the mother are save. Ifeoma gave birth to a girl though the doctor said she will be monitored intensively, because the baby is HIV free as they all knew the Ifeoma is HIV positive.

Arnold was happy that the baby was HIV free, he was so spirit filled, he looked at the child and fell in love with her instantly, like she was his own. Ifeoma was looking at him as he gaze at the little innocent being, she smiled and was contented in her heart, what more will she want if not for someone to love her the way she is.

Arnold told Ifeoma he would like to name the child Jasmine, Ifeoma laughed and asked him why, he replied to her that she is a beauty to be reckoned with, She looks like the most beautiful flower glowing under the sunlight, her eyes sparkling like the morning star, her smile lightens the atmosphere.

Ifeoma was so happy to have someone like him in her life.
Ifeoma said to herself, Thank you Lord for an opportunity to know someone that cares much for me. Ifeoma held Arnold's hands and both were looking at each other. Arnold kissed her on her forehead and they both smiled.
