~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is a God who never sleep nor slumber
he see all my trouble
He hear me when i call
There is a God who feel all my pains
and he heals all my wound
and he wept aways my tears
when i call him and he hear me
and i feel hes around to wept away my tears
and my worries.
There is a God somewhere who never sleep
nor slumber he always there to wept my tears
when eve i am in pains
He will come give me peace of mind that why i love to
sing his praise.
Some people call him jehovah elshilda
(the God of sufficient)
Some people call him jehovah shamah
(that his always there)
My bishop call him jehovah too mama
(the God of too much)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There is a God who never sleep nor slumber
he see all my trouble
He hear me when i call

Olorun kan wa ti ko kin sun
Ori gbogbo wahala mi
Ogbo ohun mi ni igba ti mo ba pe [Or Ogbo mi ni igba ti mo 'un pe]

There is a God who feel all my pains
and he heals all my wound
and he wept aways my tears

Olorun kan wa ti 'o mo wahala mi
ti osi tumi lara
ti o wa omi je mi nu [Or ti o nu omi oju mi nu]

when i call him and he hear me
and i feel hes around to wept away my tears
and my worries.

O gbo mi ni igba ti mo pe
lati nu omi oju mi nu [Or lati nu omi 'je mi nu]
osi mu esoro mi lo [Takes away my problems/pains. Kinda hard to find a direct translation here]

There is a God somewhere who never sleep
nor slumber he always there to wept my tears
when eve i am in pains
Olorun kan wa ti o kin sun [slumber and sleep have similar meanings in Yoruba am afraid]
Osi ma nu omi oju mi nu [Or osi ma 'un mu omi oju mi kuro - Takes away my tears]
Ni igba ti mo ba wa ni irora

He will come give me peace of mind that why i love to
sing his praise.
Mo ni ife re tori o funmi ni ifokanbale ["I love him cuz he gives me peace of mind" that is the best way I can put that]
Eko orin iyin fun

Some people call him jehovah elshilda
(the God of sufficient)

Ohun ni oba Jehoba elshilda [He is the go of elshilda] It would fall out of tune to write it out any other way.

Some people call him jehovah shamah
(that his always there)

Ohun ni oba jehova shamah

My bishop call him jehovah too mama
(the God of too much)

Ohun ni oba too mama OR Bishobu mi pee ni oba to poo ju. [I will go for the first translation as it fits more in to the song]

That is the best I can do. Those who know better may help you more if needed. Goodluck.

Thanks. I scored an A for my Yoruba exam during my JSCE [I think that is what it was called abi?] time in naija. So glad to see none of those stuff is all gone to waste yet. Strangely enough, I do not know how to read the "actual Yoruba"! You know the one with the "signs and dots" lol.

You never answered my question, hence am asking you again. Are you insecure in your own sexuality? smiley

No I do not know what he was asking me originally. But to suggest it is about "homo-talk" just goes to show how insecure you are. Finally, it is a conversation between A and B, its totally have nothing to do with you as it wasn't directed at you. smiley

Na your papa get this forum? if you want to have private chats, use messenger or yahoo. As for your question, it doesn't deserve an answer. If you have a girlfriend, bring her to me for about 2 hours. She'll answer on my behalf

No. smiley However, simple common sense will suggest that you do not go about derailing threads with you unnecessary statements. Hence why I pointed it out to you that it was never directed at you. Ask yourself, by jumping into a question that wasn't directed at you, what have you achieved? Jesus wept!

The mere fact that you will result to "bring your girlfriend" statements just goes to ask more question about your own sexuality. Again am asking: Are you insecure in your own sexuality? smiley

You are really weird aint you? Now you are throwing thin-veiled insults right? Why bring sex talk into this in the first place?

More like some people are stupid. Just passing unnecessary comments and then not being able to defend it.

@Zytle. I will do a few more for you at my own time. At least it allows me to brush up on my Yoruba skills.
