A man has been imprisoned for kidnapping a child and
raping her several times.
The 34-year-old man identified as Tobias Summers
bagged a life sentence and 230 years in prison on
Thursday after he was found guilty of 32 felony
counts including rape of a child, aggravated sexual
assault, possession of child pornography, kidnapping
and first-degree burglary.

Summers, according to the Los Angeles County
District Attorney’s Office, chose the victim’s house at
random, threatened the young girl with a knife and
then repeatedly sexually assaulted her in his car, a
drainage tunnel, a storage yard and a vacant house.

Deputy District Attorney Laura Knight further
disclosed that authorities located the victim nearly 12
hours later after the kidnapping at the corner of
Canoga Avenue and Oxnard Street in Woodland Hills.
She was barefoot and had visible injuries when she
was found.

The 10-year-old victim while speaking out against
Summers in court, said: “It was not right. No one
should ever have to go through that.”
Summers lawyer has revealed he will appeal the
court’s decision.
