A New Mexico man has reportedly beaten his friend to
dead with the intention of stopping him from turning into
a zombie after watching The Walking Dead.
23-year-old Christopher Paquin was allegedly beaten by
23-year-old Damon Perry, according to the AP. Perry
told investigators they had been drinking when Paquin
began “To change into a zombie,” and tried to bite him.
Police say that Perry used his hands, feet, an electric
guitar, and a microwave to beat Paquin. Sounds more
like Dead Rising than Walking Dead, but in any case,
authorities say that Perry attributed his actions to having
recently binge-watched AMC’s zombie drama, The
Walking Dead, on Netflix.
