It is gradually appearing that Nigerians' voices are being heard by the government and the DISCOs. On getting to work today here's what i saw. IKEDC is rolling out new smart meters with remote controls. In order to reduce electricity theft, the company has decided to install the meters on electricity polls where they will be easy to assess without troubles. This way, all electricity cables comes straight from the meters to your home/office making it impossible for anyone to bypass the meters. I hope this solution is permanent.
