Infinix HOT 2 supports USB OTG
I have been hearing that the infinix hot 2 does not support USB OTG feature, that's not true.
It just doesn't work while on Android One OS(5.1.1)
you have to get lollipop (5.1) OS update from carlcare or by flashing
It would not work while on Android One OS(5.1.1) until you go to carlcare for a software update(5.1) [Build number]
The device now carries out OTG function
Additions;
File manger
OTG enabled
Font changer
Battery efficient
Hot knot
New UI
Change in Navigation
Gallery
Sound recorded
voice recorded
App permission management
e.t.c.

attached: images of DSTV USB drifta(OTG enabled devices) working on HOT 2. This feature won't work if you are still using the Android One OS until you do a software upgrade.

Bro, having prob with mine here.

I connected the pad but it's not working, the pad brought up light, but it's not working on the ppsspp.

Plus the drifta doesn't work on rooted device??

On the ppsspp.

Go to settings>> controls >> control mapping, then click on each values. Use d pad to register inputs by responding to each values you click with d pad.

alternative: click "auto configure"

I think the difta might not work on rooted device.

it lags while playing some games especially CSO file games but not all games. it works better with ISO file games. Try using this setting for better result. www.mad4android.com/2015/04/best-ppsspp-settings-for-android-ppsspp.html?m=1

Thank God!!!

Woooooooooooooooooohhhhh!!!!

I've been looking for such informative threads for the past two weeks but I couldn't find one.

So here's my problem. I have a tecno y6 and I plan on buying the otg cable on my phone but I have no idea how to check if my phone is OTG compatible. CAn you put me through?

Secondly, please kindly explain how you connected the game pad (is it a system pad?) to the otg and the phone altogether. does it require some special settings or is it going going to automatically activate itself?

Thank.

1. Download OTG checker app to know if your device supports OTG.
2. The pad is a system pad, the other end of the OTG cord is a system port.
3. Button configurations can be done on the ppsspp application.

downloaded and flashed successfully. this infinix ROM is far better than the android one. the mm update on the android one looks like a downgrade. I can't wait for infinix to release their mm update.
