After securing a place in the Champions League final on Tuesday night, Manchester United have switched their attention now to Sunday's eagerly-anticipated derby encounter with Mark Hughes' men at Old Trafford.
 United top the table with 80 points, a mere 3 points ahead of Liverpool. Failing to defeat Man City could very well result in Liverpool overtaking, so the Devils will most likely go all out to secure all 3 points, with Sir Alex employing all of his strategic skills. We might see another of his strange, but effective formations, e.g the formation that beat Arsenal black and blue in the UCL.
 No injury worries, other than Gary Neville and Owen Hargreaves, so there are sufficient players to choose from to keep Robinho, Sean Wright-Philips, and co quiet.

 At times this season City have looked like a team with a purpose, at others as though they are wandering around aimlessly, desperately requiring direction.
 They seem to be back on track after defeating Blackburn 3-1 in their last Prem game, though their play in that game was less than satisfactory. City are currently 8th on the table, and with the chase for European football on, it's likely that they will bring their game to Old Trafford and try to get as much as they can from there.
Sean Wright-Philips has been out injured, but is expected to be available for the game on Sunday. Robinho, as usual, is expected to shine as well.  .  .United's back line will have to be extra vigilant for that one.

If we can put 3 in the kitty with this game, we could be wrapping up the PL by Wednesday. Looking forward to the week ahead. Can't wait.
