China announced the end of its hugely controversial
one-child policy on Thursday, with the official Xinhua
news agency saying that all couples would be allowed
two children.


It cited a communique issued by the ruling
Communist Party after a four-day meeting in
Beijing to chart the course of the world’s
second largest economy over the next five
years.

remember since when I was a little younger have been hearing about how a couple in China can't have more than a child and if they should they might b deported....



I just got news this afternoon that they have reviewed there policy and now you can now have 2 kids.....unlike Nigeria where Igbo people can have 15 children from one man...just saying

Good for them. I hope this new law would bring an end to families preferring male children to female ones.
