Former Nigerian Telecommunication Gaint, NITEL now NTEL is set to rollout new 4G LTE Data service starting from next month November. NITEL was acquired by a company called NATCOM Consortium, the winner of the bid for the moribund Nigerian Telecommunications Limited. Nothing would change. It means those interested in their services would have to buy new modem and phones that are specially designed for the network. Who is ready to take that risk. If they would make it, they must switch to a better platform such that we can just buy their sim and insert it in any phone and surf. Else, it is still a waste of investment. |
