Welding is the joining of materials especially metals, with or without the application of heat and pressure. When I first heard about welding, all my thoughts was just a road side welder stuffs. Not knowing it's more than that, there are major 5 ways of joining wch are 1. Welding, 2. Brazing, 3. Soldering, 4. Mechanical joining and 5. Adhesive bonding, but welding has gone more than joining two metals together, recently I saw d beauty of welding, talking about automatic Welding. I happened to be a part of a team that works on Dangotee's Cement Plant, Obajana, Kogi State. We worked on their VRM ( Vertical Roller Mill) it has severe wears varying from abrasion, friction, impact. We used automatic Welding machine called TPS 5000,with filler rods. D welding was done on d rollers, ours was just to watch it through a computer screen called mobile panel. It was indeed fun and a new experience I d field of welding, proud to b a Welding graduate from d great PTI, EFFURUN DELTA STATE
