Well, from my little experience with the HOT 2, I will say its a good buy.
Though there's nothing really exceptional about it, the major pros it has over its predecessor the HOT are, the Android version, 5.1 lollipop (Android one), slightly improved battery life, sharper display, and a more premium look/feel- This may make it more prone to damage from any slight fall as opposed to the Hot which is plastic all through.

I will rate it a 6 out of 10! Cheers
