I am currently a 300L student of University of Maiduguri pusuing a degree in Library and Information Science. Its a 4 year course. I took the recent exams for NDA and my name was shorlisted for interview. I have always wanted to be a soldier since I was a kid. And now, I am in this situation. Fellow members, I would like you to advice me on which to take. University or NDA because my mind is pushing me towards NDA. Thank you very much. |

if i were you,i'll go for NDA,if you graj from the uni next year, you'll definitely use one year for youth service,another for searching for job,that equals 3 yrs.But if you choose NDA you'll be graduating in the next 4 yrs with a job in hand,respect,prestige etc.Na your choice,choose wisely! |

Finsh ur uni before going to NDA.i think if u go to NDA after Uni,u wud graduate as a captian.Going now,u wud lose ur 3 years and come out as a mere Private  |

i will advise u Finish ur University before going 2 NDA, cos after finishing u can go for short service commission which will last for 9month and if ur name is shortlisted among the successful candidate u will be commissioned as a second lieutenant (One Star)and not captain, from there if u want to retire from the Army u can work elsewhere with ur University degree and be receiving ur pension and gratuity in the army for life. |
