i have a story i will like to produce. its a story of me, my friends and what happended to us all,  its a good and interesting story and i will like to share it with the world,  a friend die in the process.

Dude get yourself a camcorder and shoot a demo of it. Then showcase it plus the full story so as to enhance it. You will probably get more interest that way.

this is not just a story, but my story,

networking with the people in the industry is what i dont hv knowledge abt, who and how to meet anybody who can assist in this case,

but incase anybody will be interested, i must say that this is a very good story atleast that can change the face of Nigerian film industry.

As an insider, i must tell you plainly that because a story is real life doesnot in any way mean it will succeed commercially. There must be suspense and intrigues to keeeep the keep tight on his/herr seat. having said that i must akso say that quality acting counts here too. So first of all give another person what you call a script to ritique it then you can adjust and move on from there. The screenplay must be well done too. So do you have previous training on script writing??

My honest advise is , write a proposal, or pay some one to write it for you. and take it to movie production houses i think that can go a long way to help if you do you home work well.

You need to contract a script writer to turn you experience or story into a script of screenplay first so you have a tangible product to show the producers you will be meeting.

Nobody will ask you to narrate the story of a movie you want them to shoot, unless you're Al Pacino.

this is Nigeria dude, not Hollywood.
I've been down that road, believe me it aint easy. In those days i traveled to PH and met Francis Duru, then to Enugu and met Okey Igwe(big Ahanna in Rattlesnake), to Obosi and met Producers in Minaj television, Onitsha and talked to numerous markers/producers. i kept travelling till i became broke

the only guy who impacted on me and appreciated my efforts was Okey Igwe. He taught me on how to be a better writer and to always believe in my abilities, no matter what.

My advice to you is to have your story copied and keep the original. Never give any producer your original script cos while you're still going in circles, someone may have started shooting your story(thats Nollywood for you). i'm speaking from experience and i couldnt sue the bastard cos i gave him my hand written script.

i didnt write the story with my pen, i typed it on my system and i have copies now, i wanna know about this script writing.

is script writting different from normal writting? or its a just a way of writting sceen play,

the story occured to me,along side my partners, which leads to our departure and one of us dead,


its a long story and i really wish to produce it.

i want people to watch it on screen and learn from it,laugh to it, some might even cry,,

in conclusion, it is emotional and full of action.
