Airtel after launching their time based data plan, they now introduced another super data plan called airtel weekend data which costs N100 for 1GB.
This is good for heavy downloaders and can also stream live matches with it.

There's no doubt that competition is within our network providers as we Nigerians are heavy internet users and you know how much they are making. And also i think by next year things will get a lot better coupled with nitel that is coming back to Nigeria again and to offer cheap data services. Can't wait the day any of these network providers will offer us 3GB data bundle at N500.

Load N100 on your airtel sim and dail this code *474*1#
To check your data balance dial *140#.

Note this is weekend plan so you subscribe on Saturday and it expires on Sunday 12am. This works on all device be it Android, Windows Mobile and pc even bb.
