The biggest platform for Nollywood opens today at the ongoing 2015 AFRIFF International Film Festival at 5pm at the Silverbird Galleria on Victoria Island, Lagos. It is the biggest mobile film distribution and exhibition platform called Afrinolly Marketplace where every producer and marketer of Nollywood movies, makers of music videos and other videos on African entertainment can buy and sell their film productions through GSM mobile phones to viewers all over the world who will pay per view 24/7 using their regular airtime for MTN and Airtel subscribers and other simple payment options on all other GSM networks, including Etisalat and Glo.

Almost all the top flight film directors, producers, distributors, actors and actresses in Nollywood were present at the official presentation of Afrinolly Marketplace. Nollywood divas Mrs. Joke Silva-Jacobs, Rita Dominic, and Hilda Dokubo; Ramsey Noah was there and award winning directors Mahmood Ali-Balogun, Kunle Afolayan, Ralph Nwadike, Fred Amata, Charles Novia, Zik Zulu Okafor, President of Moivie Producers Association (AMP) of Nigeria, Michelle Bello and others, including producers Mildred Okwo, Osezuo Imobhio and Igwe Gabriel Okoye, aka "Gabosky" were also there; Chioma Ude, Founder/CEO of AFRIFF always walking tall gracefully co-hosted the event with Mr. Chike Maduegbuna, CEO of FansConnect Limited, makers and owners of Afrinolly and Mrs. Jane Maduegbuna. Access Bank introduced the new film finance for the Nigerian film industry. Bank of Industry presented the progress report on the bank's Nollyfund. I saw Mrs. Cynthia Uche and Mr. Okechukwu Madu of Bank of Industry with some of their colleagues. Shaibu Husseini of The Guardian and Collins Talker of Galaxy TV were among the top news reporters at the event.
