Dear Biafran, That crusader of freedom is a strange weather Tickling your nostrils with hate You send your young to fight his father's war He sends his young to take your father's throne This is a script from political jobbers Rehearsed in the theatre of doom An exodus to the land of the rising sun Is an apolyptical myth in despair Ask the Libyans what came of the spring And the Syrians fleeing across the Mediterranean Freedom does not come when you wage a war Flanked by ghosts in army fatigues 6 Likes 1 Share |
