Tottenham have completed the signing of Nigerian youngster Victor Osimhen, according to reports posted in London’s Metro.
Osimhen, 16, was the star of Nigeria ’s recent Under-17 World Cup triumph, with the forward scoring ten goals in seven games at the tournament, including one in the final against Mali.
Tottenham were reported to have opened talks with the player’s representatives during the competition, and according to AS he will now join Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Osimhen’s compatriot Kelechi Nwakali – who was voted player of the tournament – is also understood to be on his way to the Premier League with Manchester City.
If this compilation of Osimhen’s goals at the World Cup is anything to go by, Spurs have picked themselves up a serious talent…

Tottenham is a great choice for Osimhen. Mauricio Pochettino nurtures and give young players big-time chances (check out Eric Dier, Nabil bentaleb, Dele Alli, Clinton Njie, Josh Onomah, etc)

Besides, Osimhen get to learn a lot form Harry Kane himself. Hahahahahaha....... His goal against Mali in the final of the recently concluded Fifa U-17 world cup was described as a "sweet Harry Kane finish" by tottenham news media outlet(s). At that time, He was already on their radar as with Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

So then, we got Musa Yahaya (who'll turn 18 next month and sign a pro-deal with Tottenham by January next year) and Osimhen at Tottenham Hotspurs' famed Youth set-up..... With Yahaya's chance soon to come after he signs his pro-deal and have his permit sorted.

turns out "realistic" eventually because OSIMHEN'S
AGENT AND REPRESENTATIVES HAVE COME OUT TO
SAY "THE TOTTENHAM DEAL IS JUST SPECULATION".
As it is, Osimhen hasn't "officially" joined Tottenham yet.......


So for now, his options remain Tottenham, Arsenal,
Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool and One other European side (ALL OF WHOM HAVE
CONFIRMED "KEEN INTEREST" IN THE YOUNGSTER).


In the next couple of days or few weeks down the
line, Osimhen's "inevitable" European move will be
confirmed.
