I don even notice say even if u cross two black nd tan gsd, dere is usually a posibilty of white in d litter, esp if dem carry d gene as recessive, but hardly would u see a pure black gsd pup frm black nd tan parents, highest we see na bicoloured gsd DTS wit more black Dan tan. for one to get black, a pure black parent must be used. plus here in 9ja d ratio of getting a black gsd to a black nd tan on a scale of 100 is 14:86

Again ALL BLACK, with no spot of brown or tan is rare.

For clarification the dictionary definition of rare is: "thinly distributed, not common". Doesn't mean you can't find it. Most GSD owners will agree wth me that this is true. Even here on Nairaland.

At least I didn't insult you - hopefully we can have a civil conversation. You can respectfully disprove me.

sorry if I came at u in a hard way but the way u approached things didn't make it any easier at all. Your gsd is a good quality I give u that but why must their be price increment attached to the black ones? considering they re good quality u won't ve problem selling them off at an adequately amount. the color doesn't make it any different from the rest of the litters,does it? or is their a special skills black gsd possess ?

On another note, German Shepards come in different qualities. Most people will agree with me that 100% pedigree German Shepards with verifiable blood line are very expensive and are not too many in Nigeria.
